"El Silbon"
The story is about a spoiled teenager who wanted an ipad, but when his father come back emptied handed the boy killed his father. His grandpa saw the body hovering the dead body and he cursed him. As the boy was cursed he turned into El Silbon, now anyone who crosses his path will hear his whistle usually people will think when the whistle gets closer they're supposed to run away, but it's the opposite it means when you hear him getting close he's actually far away and when you hear him far away he is very close. Then, after he kills he goes to any house to count the bones he has collected, but if no one hears him in the house hold someone will die at dawn and if you do hear him your family will have good luck.
Project Reflection1. Working along with Spanish, Digital Art, and Music it became a project about filming a Spanish folktale ( Mine was El Silbon) with four different people as my partners. By the start of this project my group wasn't working together well, but towards the end it started to blend well and I can't wait to see the results of our movie.
2. The importance of the Latin American culture for the folktale tradition is to continue the old tradition with the next generation so no one forgets. What will happen to the folktale tradition in the 21st century is that our world will keep changing the stories and add their own twist is what I think. 3. Working with all the technology in this century two things I thought I worked well with was first saying the narration into a certain type of headphones and speaking Spanish. Second was using the camera to shoot some of my film and working with the angles of how it should filmed. 4. As well for my struggles I think what I need to work one the most for one of my 21st century skills is practice editing the movie and trying to figure out what needs to be changed like lighting, movement, pauses, and captions. 5. Even though if this project doesn't go as well as I hoped I am still very happy I did this because now I have experience with working in a group and now how to make my future movies better. Also remember if you're doing something like this for the first have fun with it, it won't be great the first time so don't get so hung over about it just go with the flow. |
